Everything started with sunlight
We made the beach into our backyard
All lit up and exciting
And our body in the sun
We kissed slowly and softly
The sand mirrored the blue above
Baby, come sleep with me
Baby, feel the light of the sun
Baby, whisper soft in my ears
That waking up next to me is the soft embrace of a pillow in the morning1
I'm not one for drinking, but if drinking makes it even better
This baby loves me, baby
Bring that rosé with blackberry liquor on over here
Our tongues flirt and the jambú trembles2
Kiss me, your swaying moves have me lifted up in the air
I'm melting right in front of you
I'm melting right in front of you
1. Okay, some considerable poetic license here. Literally it says "That waking up with me is a morning pillow". I added a little bit in to make the image clearer in English, but if I screwed it up in any way or its not accurate, please let me know!2. Jambú is a type of Brazilian liquor. The words "the jambú trembles" could either refer to the drink swishing in the glass, or the effect that it has on the person who drinks it-- reportedly jambú has a bit of an 'electric' and/or numbing effect and it makes you tremble a little. Again, reportedly; I've never had it.
