“You know you’re one bad day away from being me” That’s The Punisher himself (Jon Bernthal) dropping some home truth in the badass second trailer for Daredevil season two (first trailer here). We were clued in to a gritty as Hell(‘s Kitchen) trailer coming today by a tweet Netflix put out yesterday.
And gritty it is. We shouldn’t need to explain which one’s saying which in this exchange between Daredevil and The Punisher:
“People don’t have to die.”
“When you hit people, they get back up. When I hit them, they stay down.”
“Why are you doing this”
“Because I think you’re a half-measure. I think you’re a man who can’t finish the job. I think that you’re a coward.”
As the trailer warns, no good deed goes unpunished. And if that’s not enough, stay to the end for a glimpse of Elektra (Elodie Yung).
SYNOPSIS:
