What’s On Tonight: ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Is Here To Scare The Crap Out Of You

The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu) – A lot has been said about the timeliness of Margaret Atwood’s dystopian novel The Handmaid’s Tale and it’s TV show counterpart since Donald Trump took office. The show, which premieres tomorrow, closely follows the book: a young woman is taken to serve as a handmaid, a breeder, for wealthy, powerful authority figures in a regime that’s taken over the United States and enacted a set of strict, governing religious rules. iZombie (CW, 9:00 p.m.) – Liv chows down on the brain of a murder victim who had a nasty gossiping habit, which really tests Clive’s patience.
