What’s On Tonight: ‘Catastrophe’ Is Back And ‘Dear White People’ Comes To Netflix

Dear White People (Netflix) – Netflix’s latest reboot comes courtesy of Justin Simien’s satirical comedy. The show follows the same format as the film with a handful of black students addressing everything from police violence to how the Republican Party invented the McRib while attending a liberal, mostly white college. It’s dark, funny, and full of insightful, biting commentary on race relations and white privilege so despite the controversy the title has already built up, stay woke and watch this show.

Life in Pieces (CBS, 9:30 p.m.) — Dougie enlists Joan to help her buy a gift for Matt and Colleen’s wedding and Heather gets jealous when her friends want to include Jen in their mommy group.

Lip Sync Battle (Spike, 10:00 p.m.) – It’s Ne-Yo vs. Taye Diggs tonight.
