Waco: Madman Or Messiah (Sunday, A&E 9:00 p.m.) — Anyone with even a cursory knowledge of David Koresh and the Branch Dividians knows that this is not a story that ends well. A&E digs into the story of Koresh with a two part documentary look into the true story ahead of the upcoming miniseries, Waco. Waco pits Taylor Kitsch as Koresh against Michael Shannon’s Gary Noesner, the FBI agent determined to root out the source of Koresh’s power and influence. Hopefully, this will be the role that once again highlights the talent that Kitsch showed in Friday Night Lights (we already know that Michael Shannon is going to kill it).
