What’s On Tonight: Trump’s State Of The Union And A New Hero Emerges On ‘Black Lightning’

State of the Union Address (NBC, CBS, Fox, ABC, 9:00 p.m.) – Trump gives the traditional speech before a joint session of Congress tonight. There probably won’t be any talk about those Russia sanctions, Robert Mueller’s investigation, or that bizarre story about the President of the United States ordering the FBI Deputy Director to ask his wife how it felt to be a “loser” but I’m sure there will be plenty of foot-in-mouth comments to keep the news cycle fresh this week.

Citizen Rose (E!, 8:00 p.m.) – It’s a bit ironic when a network that’s truly failed to recognize this #MeToo movement in Hollywood decides to air a series about one of the women responsible for launching it in the first place but here we are.

Ellen’s Game of Games (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) – Ellen introduces her contestants to a game called “Make It Rain” which requires competitors to answer trivia questions for the chance to find $10,000 hidden under an umbrella suspended over the stage. While one umbrella has the cash, the rest contain gallons of icy cold water.

Fresh Off the Boat (ABC, 8:00/8:30 p.m.) – In trying to shield Emery and Evan from the news that Michelle Kwan has placed second in the Olympics, Jessica gets caught up in an elaborate conspiracy theory that leads her to Nancy Kerrigan’s doorstep. Later, Louis enacts a plan to break free of Kenny Rogers’ shadow and Jessica’s competitive spirit pushes Evan to talk to the school shrink.

Super Bowl Greatest Commercials 2018 (CBS, 8:00 p.m.) – It’s that time again. We take a look at the best Super Bowl commercials within the theme of “Man vs. Beast.”

The Flash (CW, 8:00 p.m.) – Barry meets someone with a connection to Henry Allen while the team fights a metahuman who can shrink anything he touches and when Cisco and Ralph get in his way, they’re sized down to miniaturized versions of themselves.

We’ll Meet Again (PBS, 8:00 p.m.) – Ann Curry reunites people whose lives crossed during the deadly eruption of Mount St. Helens.

Black Lightning (CW, 9:00 p.m.) – Jennifer reveals a life-changing secret she’s been keeping from her family as Jefferson Pierce tries to determine whether his community can survive without Black Lightning and Anissa begins to come into her own.

Baskets (FX, 10:00 p.m.) – Chip struggles to find a rodeo clown while Christine looks for someone to break the horses.

Drunk History (Comedy Central, 10:00 p.m.) — Taran Killam, Jerry O’Connell, and Bob Odenkirk explore the lives of Jack Parsons, William Chester Minor, and Rasputin.

Another Period (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.) – Harry Houdini pays a visit to investigate some supernatural occurrences at the manor.

The Detour (TBS, 10:30 p.m.) – Nate tries to figure out this whole stay at home dad thing.
