WWE NXT TakeOver: War Games 2018 Results:

— Matt Riddle came to the ring and announced that even though he wasn’t scheduled for a match on TakeOver, he wanted to face Kassius Ohno immediately. Ohno came out with a mic and accepted the challenge.

1. Matt Riddle defeated Kassius Ohno. The match lasted seconds, as Riddle hit Ohno with a knee and immediately pinned him.

2. 2-out-of-3 Falls for the NXT Women’s Championship: Shayna Baszler (c) defeated Kairi Sane. Baszler got the first fall quickly, forcing Sane to tap with a Kirifuda Clutch after Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir attacked the Pirate Princess behind the ref’s back. Sane recovered and took the second fall by pinning Baszler after two Insane Elbows in a row, the first one outside the ring, which also took down Duke and Shafir. When Shayna’s friends got involved again, Dakota Kai and Io Shirai ran in to counter them. Kairi attempted another Insane Elbow, but Shayna Baszler countered it by rolling her directly into a pin to win the match.

— X-Pac showed up in the front row with an adorable dog.

3. Aleister Black defeated Johnny Gargano. Black hit Gargano with two Black Masses in a row to get the pinfall.

4. NXT Championship Match: Tommaso Ciampa defeated Velveteen Dream. Ciampa pinned Dream after hitting him with a DDT on the steel platform between the two rings.

5. War Games Match: War Raiders, Ricochet, and Pete Dunne defeated Undisputed Era. Ricochet and Pete Dunne pinned Adam Cole simultaneously after Dunne slammed him to the mat with a Bitter End and Ricochet hit him a 450 splash. The victorious duo stared at each other as they held their titles, but then shared a nod of respect.
