The post-WrestleMania injury news keeps getting worse for WWE Superstars this week.
Yesterday we shared the news that New Day member Big E would miss time due to “cooked cartilage” in his knee, and now Nia Jax will be “gone for a while” due to knee surgery to repair ACL tears in both of her knees. That’s intense.
Pro Wrestling Sheet first reported the injury, which was then confirmed by Jax in a series of social media posts on Friday afternoon. You can see those below.

Much like Big E there’s no announced timetable for when she’ll be able to return to the ring, but it’s expected that she’ll miss at least nine months before she’ll have full stability and a full range of motions in her knee joints. Double knee surgery makes the recovery that much more difficult.
Jax’s most recent match was at WrestleMania, in which she teamed up with Tamina in a losing effort to capture WWE’s Women’s Tag Team Championship. That was ultimately won by the IIconics, and we’re seeing all sorts of fallout from the match.
We wish Nia a speedy recovery, as double knee surgery is no joke, and hope she can come back stronger than ever.
