WWE Raw

Here are your quick and dirty, editorial-free WWE Raw results for May 20, 2019. The post-Money in the Bank episode featured an appearance from “Beast in the Bank” Brock Lesnar, a tag team match main event, and more. Make sure you’re here tomorrow for the complete Best and Worst of Raw column.

WWE Raw Results:

– Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar opened the show, with Heyman putting over Lesnar’s Money in the Bank win. They were interrupted by Seth Rollins, and then Kofi Kingston. Heyman said that both men would be in action later tonight, and that Lesnar would stick around and possibly cash-in on one of them.

1. Braun Strowman defeated Sami Zayn. The fight went backstage so Strowman could confront Bobby Lashley about their upcoming match in Saudi Arabia. Strowman pinned Zayn after a powerslam.

– Lars Sullivan was supposed to give an “exclusive interview” in the ring, but was interrupted by Lucha House Party. They briefly did well against him, but he beat them up until they ran away.

2. Cesaro defeated Ricochet. The match went to commercial, then came back to a picture-in-picture of additional commercials. Cesaro won with a Gotch Neutralizer.

– Shane McMahon and Roman Reigns argued to set up a match between the two at Super Showdown in Jeddah, country unspecified.

3. The Revival defeated The Usos. Scott Dawson won the match for his team by holding the tights on a roll-up.

– A Moment Of Bliss with Becky Lynch as the guest quickly set up a six woman tag team match, with Lynch, Nikki Cross, and a non-wrestling Bliss taking on The IIconics and Lacey Evans.

– The Firefly Funhouse opening credits aired, and were spooky.

4. Becky Lynch, Nikki Cross, and Alexa Bliss defeated Lacey Evans and the IIconics. Bliss stood at ringside and drank coffee during the match. Evans walked out on her partners, and Lynch was able to pin Billie Kay with a leg drop off the ropes.

– Mick Foley debuted WWE’s new 24/7 Championship, which you can read about here. The first “match” for the belt, in which the winner was whoever grabbed it first, was won by Titus O’Neil. On his way up the ramp, O’Neil was pinned by Robert Roode. Roode then ran away and hid.

5. Drew McIntyre defeated The Miz. McIntyre won with a Claymore Kick after interference from Shane McMahon. McMahon tried to hit a coast-to-coast dropkick on Miz after the match, but Roman Reigns made the save.

R-Truth hid Robert Roode from everyone chasing him, then pinned him to win the 24/7 Championship. Truth then drove away.

– The main event was announced as no disqualification.

6. No Disqualification Match: Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins defeated Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley. Kingston pinned Corbin after a Trouble in Paradise. After the match, Lashley continued the attack and was fought off. Brock Lesnar showed up to tease a Money in the Bank cash-in, but did nothing.
