Wrestlers Answer Questions About Double Or Nothing At Starrcast 2019

Wrestlers Answer Questions About Double Or Nothing At Starrcast 2019

Emily Pratt

The second Starrcast convention is currently taking place in Las Vegas over Memorial Day weekend. Starrcast isn’t owned by AEW, but it is the convention companion to Double or Nothing. I’m in Vegas collecting material for pieces that will be “actually good,” but while at Starrcast yesterday I also got some very accommodating wrestlers to answer some one- or two-off questions, mostly about All Elite Wrestling’s first show.

These were shared on With Spandex’s Twitter and Instagram accounts (and my Twitter account) yesterday, but maybe you missed all or some of them. Maybe you don’t follow us on social media (Which is bad! Please go like/follow all the With Spandex accounts!) or maybe you don’t use social media at all (actually, this is probably ideal), but you would still like to watch short videos of wrestlers answering dumb questions. This article is for you, my friend. Read on.

After being shown this video of Chris Jericho‘s new MMA-inspired finishing move, MMA legend and pro wrestler and World’s Most Dangerous Man Ken Shamrock weighed in on his former opponent’s skills.

Nyla Rose is in a triple threat match with Kylie Rae and Britt Baker at DoN and already knows her next dream opponent in AEW.

Independent wrestler Orange Cassidy weights in on two of Double or Nothing’s biggest matches with his trademark wisdom.

NJPW‘s Tama Tonga had more to say about Jericho vs. Omega and even predicted this finish. It sounds like Bullet Club Civil War wounds don’t heal too quickly!

Since he isn’t all that invested in AEW, Tonga also answered an important question related to New Japan’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament: Who would he kiss, marry, and push off a cliff out of the three Bullet Club wrestlers in BOSJ, Taiji Ishimori, Robbie Eagles, and El Phantasmo

Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy of AEW tag team Private Party are both in the Casino Battle Royal. The winner of the battle royal gets a title shot. What happens if they’re the last two left

Michael Nakazawa, formerly of DDT, also has a plan to win the battle royal and it probably involves a thong.

Nakazawa already knows who he wants to face for the AEW World Championship too.

Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor blackmailed their way out of the pre-show battle royal and onto the main card. Then it was revealed the battle royal winner will get a title shot. Do they have regrets

And there you have it – those are all the mini-interviews I filmed with my phone yesterday. I hope you enjoyed them, but if not, well, at least they were mini.
