AEW Announced A New Match For All Out That Looks Like It Could Get Weird

After making two tag team matches for All Out official yesterday on Being The Elite, All Elite Wrestling announced the sixth match for its August 31 pay-per-view today on The Road to AEW All Out web series. Darby Allin vs. Joey Janela vs. Jimmy Havoc is a match between three performers who were far from afraid to get extreme during their time on the independent scene and don’t look like they’re about to stop that now that they’re in AEW.

As you can see in the video above, which also included a promo from Tully Blanchard on behalf of Shawn Spears and from Jon Moxley on his upcoming opponent, Kenny Omega, AEW set up this match with a pull-apart brawl between Allin, Janela, and Havoc, and one that includes a lot more throwing of punches than a recent White Claw-fueled incident involving the Bad Boy. This took place backstage at Fight for the Fallen after this trio lost a six-man tag team match against MJF, Shawn Spears, and Sammy Guevara.

All three wrestlers responded to the match announcement on Twitter soon after it occurred. So far Darby Allin vs. Joey Janela vs. Jimmy Havoc is a regular triple threat match, but considering the tweets below and the men’s histories in AEW and elsewhere, it wouldn’t be shocking to see this match get some kind of extra stipulation, like how Mox vs. Janela became “unsanctioned.”
